Gyosen Asakura from Fukui City\, Japan where he combines his talent as a DJ with his vocation as a Jodo Shinshu monk to create a fusion creation combining chants with lights and images to spark the imagination and to bring peace to the inner spirit. \nRev. Asakura will bring his masterwork to San Jose for only three performances: Tuesday\, September 17 at 3 pm and 7 pm and Wednesday\, September 18 at 7 pm. Other stops on his US tour are New York and Los Angeles. \nPlease contact the San Jose Buddhist Church Betsuin office for inquiries and questions.
