Growing up in Japantown we all have those distinct memories; dropping off our children at Lotus for the first time, attending Dharma School and Japanese Language School, participating in Jr. Choir, earning various badges in scouting, baking cookies for the YBA bake sale, or volunteering at Obon every year. I think we can all agree, the biggest memory is the friendships we make and will continue to make as the years move forward. The SJBCB has given us all a place to be a part of this extended family, and we can only guarantee our next generation can experience those same memories by coming together to raise funds for the construction of the new Education Building! Together, by supporting Unite Casino Night, we can properly hold on to our past memories, create new memories, and look on as our children create their own.
